"Rhonda Hansome is one funny Negro..." ~Rhonda Hansome's Mother
Rhonda Hansome is noted for not playing coy but she is said to tickle
one's fancy. She says she's a fool on roller blades and a lapsed Catholic
listening.
She's an Outstanding Comedian BackStage Bistro Award winner, who has
appeared on a few hit shows: Louie, Saturday Night Live,Caroline's
Comedy Hour, Stand-Up Spotlight, Arsenio Hall,Evening at the Improv,
Showtime at the Apollo, and The Joan Rivers Show as her movie reviewer.
Rhonda has appeared as opening act with Anita Baker, Diana Ross &
Aretha Franklin just to name just a few. She is home on a cruise ship,
casino, or comedy club stage and has developed my provocative sense of
foolery in NYC at the original homes of Catch A Rising Star and The Improv.
She is an internatioal jester. Her Divorced & Bitter Tour was recently
presented in Tel Aviv. And she has appeared on the London Underground
TV show and entertained US troops in Korea.
Her intelligent yet down to earth humor is fresh as tomorrow's headlines.
Her characters and quips delivered with seasoned skill, offer unexpected
laughs at the everyday.
Rhonda has appeared on various television programsand movies, appearing
as "Bermuda" in Pretty Woman. Her role as "Mrs. Johnson" in the dramatic
web series Disciplinary Actions, Eep 2) has been praised. She plays a
Casting Director from hell in the comedy web series Black Actress.
